Embracing Enhance’s commitment to advanced technology and sustainability, the facility’s fabric was engineered to exceed standard Building Regulations with ultra-low air permeability and optimized U-values. This low-demand design allowed Bedwell MEP to implement a fully electric building services strategy, eliminating fossil fuels through air source heat pump (ASHP) technology for both domestic hot water generation and climate control. The complete M&E scope featured Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) heat recovery systems, specialized clinical supply and extract ventilation, roof-mounted photovoltaic (PV) solar arrays, automated control systems, high-efficiency lighting, and integrated security infrastructure.
